Who We Are

At Sunshine Studio, we offer engaging and interactive classes for children that combine the joys of music, movement, and art to spark their creativity and foster a love for the arts.

The Power of the Arts:

Crystal Carter, a long-time resident of Skagit County, is a passionate advocate for the power of the arts in shaping the lives of children. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, Crystal has dedicated her career to enriching the lives of young minds through music, movement, and art.
As the manager of a children's gymnastics center, Crystal has witnessed firsthand the transformative impact that engaging with movement, interactive play, and the arts can have on children's development. Through her work, she has seen children blossom into confident and expressive individuals, discovering new ways to explore their creativity and embrace their unique talents.
Crystal firmly believes that the arts provide a platform for children to develop essential skills.

However, Crystal's passion does not end with children. She also thrives on working with adults, recognizing that the power of the arts knows no age limit. Crystal understands that adults can benefit tremendously from engaging in creative endeavors, and she is committed to fostering inclusive art spaces that cater to people of all ages.
With her extensive background in children's music, art, and literature, Crystal has developed a keen understanding of the remarkable potential that lies within each individual. She believes that art has the ability to transcend language barriers and cultural differences, fostering empathy, understanding, and connection among diverse communities. It is through creating art and music we can heal, discover emotional expression, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.
